Even if you may have made a mistake and you have a good argument behind you, are diplomatic and are able to explain the reasoning behind any action, you will not only gain respect from Sir Alan or any other potential business colleagues, you will be able to accomplish something from the failure you have faced and move on.
Through failure you are able to learn immensely about yourself. You learn about your limits as well as your talents and in general you can look back on why you failed so next time you’ve got a better opportunity to be a success. Failure builds character, when you are down and when you’ve lost something as a businessman that’s when you really grow. Your thinking becomes much more streamlined and as a result of facing hardship your entire approach will be much more efficient. I’ve had several failed concepts because I had approached the industry in the wrong way and because I just wasn’t experienced enough. I feel that once you face and experience the processes of failure, it will groom you to become a better businessman or businesswoman. Facing negativity should not result in your downfall as it is through the negative times and failures that you are able to develop your character. I believe that you must build yourself from your core to stand a chance in the callous world of business. Once you are able to refine your business acumen, skills and resilience it will then reflect on your business and your ability to survive the hurdles you will undoubtedly face. To avoid facing hindrance in business you must regularly explore new avenues. You must calculate the pros and cons in any business venture and make a decision, if your chips are down and the cons outweigh the pros always look at different options and new ways of self-improvement. We, as individuals, can never stop learning and improving ourselves as it is the backbone to continual success. Although self-belief is fundamental in business, admitting your faults and rectifying them will allow you to rise from any potential failure.
